NAVIGATION
The route is open to traffic, and not marked by signs. The Ultracyclist (and his crew) will have to respect the italian Traffic Laws & Regulations and have , in addition to physical skills, an high level of ability in reading maps

È il primo evento italiano di Ultracycling : una doppia Tirreno-Adriatico che attraversa 4 regioni, taglia per due volte l’ Appennino toccando i due mari, e dopo 775km e oltre 10.000 mt di dislivello fa ritorno a Silvi.
Una natura incontaminata attraverso alcuni dei parchi nazionali più belli in Italia.Prova di qualificazione per la Race Across America, (RAAM) è inserita nel calendario World Ultracycling Association per il 500 Mile Series Challenge; inoltre è la prima tappa del Ultracycling Italian Championship.

The Race Across Italy UNLIMITED is a Race Across Italy without support open to cyclists or couples, a unique stage where the clock never stops from start to finish.
The 4th Edition will start on May 4th, 2024 from our beautiful Silvi.
In the #RAI UNLIMITED participants will have to study and plan their route. They have to know how to manage navigation, logistics, trust in themselves, the obligatory passage to the mandatory Check Points (CP) will allow them to ride through some of the most beautiful landscapes and cities of our beautiful country.

We have worked hard on the tracks to offer you the right balance between dirt roads, trails, asphalt and some single track, but always thinking to ride it with a gravel bike, avoiding as much as possible the parts with too high technical difficulties; of course you can also participate in mtb

The bike, in ultracycling is very important, yes, but you have to develop other aspects:
- how to manage unexpected events,
- riding without any schemes,
- cycling without planning the hotel or where to stop.
Ultracycling is not a bike tour; travelers plans their daily stages, they stops and starts again the following day.. in the Ultracycling you proceed without scheduling This obliges you to make quick choices and to improvise, and improvisation is the most exciting part of the adventure, without improvisation there is no adventure!!

Paolo Laureti
Race Manager RAI e Presidente Team
Born in 1976
President ASD Bike & Dreams and RAI Race Manager.
From his mind was born the idea in 2009 to organize in Italy the Ultracycling first event. Paolo is an Ultracyclist and at that time he was forced to ride always abroad to participate in this type of events.
Race Across Italy was born, and since the first edition, it received the approval of the whole Ultracycling Community in Italy and worldwide.
Paolo, thanks to his technical and organizational skills , created in few years a great event , he founded a Bike Team to support the Race Across Italy made of volunteers and bike lovers, forming them to be RAI Race Officials . The result has been exceptional.
The Race Across Italy Team and Asd Bike & Dreams melt together in that magical atmosphere that is the RAI.
