The Classic Race

RAI775 is the first Italian Ultracycling event: a double Tirreno-Adriatico that crosses 4 regions, cuts the Apennines twice touching the two seas, and after 775km and over 10,000 meters of elevation returns to Silvi.
Wild nature through some of the most beautiful National Parks in Italy.
It’s Qualifying Race for the Race Across America (RAAM) and is included in the World Ultracycling Association Calendar for the 500 Miles Challenge.
At RAI 775 this year there will also be an absolute novelty, a big step forward for ultracycling.as RAI775 Unsupported will also be the :
WUCA EUROPEAN ULTRACYCLING CHAMPIONSHIP
It is also the first Race of the Ultracycling Italian Championship.
Race across Italy is a non-stop Ultracycling Race starting from Silvi (TE) and open to the participation of cyclists(both self-supported and with support car) and teams of 2, 4 cyclists (in relay).
The 11th edition will start on May 3th, 2024 from our beautiful Silvi Marina.
The date l has been decided to give the opportunity to all those who are training for the Race Across America to have a good test (even for the Crew) , where weather conditions , except in case of unforeseen events, should be ideal.

How to participate:
- register at RAI775 in the one of the categories WITH SUPPORT or SELF SUPPORTED
- register at WUCA (Worldwide Ultracycling Association). For years, WUCA has been working to promote and develop the Ultracycling in the world. It promotes many events, championships, records and challenge series and it is working in all continents to bring Ultracycling to the highest level. Today you can join the WUCA in two ways :
- Subscribe an annual membership (actual cost is 45US $), with which you can participate not only in this CHAMPIONSHIP, but in all the events (and not only) that the WUCA will promote for its members. you can join WUCA by clicking here
- Subscribe a single event (cost 10 €) memebership with which you can participate only in this CHAMPIONSHIP . You can join by adding the 10 € to the RAI775 registration fee and mentioning in your payment specifications . We will then provide to turn the money received to the WUCA,

The Track
Equipment
You will find below a summary of the material needed (read carefully the rules).
SOLO AND TEAM WITH SUPPORT CAR
All what is listed below is mandatory:
- helmet;
- GPS tracker (provided by the organization and to be kept with the cyclist at all times);
- navigator (Garmin o similari) to upload track files;
- lights for the bike and all what is mentioned in the rules;
- front and back lights have to be always switched on:
- 1 support car (pace car);
- 2 crew members with a valid driver licence ;
- mobile phone always available
- reflecting adhesives both for the bike and for the wheels
- reflecting vests for cyclist and crew members (mandatory according Italian Traffic Rules and our rules);
- all what mentioned in our rules.
In addition we suggest:
- to have appropriate clothing for all weather conditions;
- to have a second bike (this is just a suggestion of course, mainly to avoid a DNS (Do Not Start) due to a mechanical problem;
- food and beverage.
SELF-SUPPORTED SOLO AND PAIR :
All what is listed below is mandatory:
- helmet;
- GPS tracker (provided by the organization and to be kept with the cyclist at all times);
- navigator (Garmin o similari) to upload track files;
- lights for the bike and all what is mentioned in the rules;
- front and back lights have to be always switched on:
- mobile phone always available ;
- reflecting adhesives both for the bike and for the wheels
- reflecting vests for cyclist (mandatory according Italian Traffic Rules and our rules);
- all what mentioned in our rules.
In addition we suggest:

Registration Fees
REGISTRATIONS ARE CLOSED
Registration fees for PAIR and TEAM are for the total.
