The Race Across Italy Unlimited is a Race Across Italy without support open to cyclists or couples, a unique stage where the clock never stops from start to finish.
Starting on May 3rd, 2024 from our beautiful Silvi Paese
In #RAIUnlimited participants will have to study and plan their route, .
Each participant will have to be able to manage navigation, logistics, and above all rely on himself The obligatory passage to the fixed Check Points (CP) will ensure that everyone pedals through some of the most enchanting landscapes and cities in Italy and not only .
Easy to say , but extremely difficult to apply as there are so many variables….
Many will live it as a competition, while many will ride with the sole objective of finishing it.
Our vision for Race Across Italy Unlimited was not to make the toughest race in the world but to allow you to live it as an amazing experience Across Italy, every year different from the previous one.
The 4rd edition in 2024 will take you to explore and learn more about our beautiful Italy, but not only Italy!

Why to choose the Race Across Italy UnLimited?
Because it is a 1800 km “Race Across Italy”, in bikepacking mode to test your resilience and skills without any support..
Solo Rider
Participants have to plan and organize their own track, managing navigation, logistics, in self-supported mode, and respectingto pass through the mandatory Check Points.
The main rule is the absolute prohibition of drafting and if a cyclist meets another cyclist they can stay side by side but for no more than 30 minutes in total during the whole race.
In case the organization find you have been for a longer period, you will be immediately moved to the Pair category.

Pair Rider
In Pair Category , riders act as a single unit and can share, food, drink and equipment.
They are allowed, only in this category, to to ride in draft with their partner and can share resources.
Tracking
The tracking device is provided by the organization and it is the participant’s responsibility, however, to check that there is a signal and that it is working.
It is the responsibility of the participant to maintain evidence of his or her trial in accordance with the rules.
Time Limit

Upon arrival, you can send us proof of arrival with message and photo.
Equipment
You will find below a summary of the material needed (read carefully the rules).
SOLO and PAIR
All what is listed below is mandatory:
- helmet;
- GPS tracker (provided by the organization and to be kept with the cyclist at all times);
- navigator (Garmin o similari) to upload track files;;
- llights for the bike and all what is mentioned in the rules;
- front and back lights have to be always switched on
- mobile phone always available
- reflecting adhesives both for the bike and for the wheels (according to ItalianTraffic Regulations and by our rules);
- all what is mentioned in our rules.
In addition we suggest:
- to have appropriate clothing for all weather conditions;
- food and beverage.

- Agonistic Medical Certificate for Cycling valid during Race Across Italy
- For Italian athletes :
Valid cycling federation card (ACSI-FCI-UCI etc.) - For all foreign athletes :

What is a Check Point?
A Check Point is a control point where participants must pass through to validate their results in the race Check Points are selected to allow you to ride through the most beautiful landscapes across Italy.
To validate the Check Point riders have to send to the organizer message live and a photo when they’re at the coordinates received before the start
What 's the Liability Form ?
It is an acceptance of responsibility by the rider, please read it carefully before signing.
How the Registration procedure works?

You have to complete the Registration on our website.

Write carefully your Sport Curriculum as we evaluate it carefully and we accept in RAI2020 only runners with self-supported riding experience (if you don’t have experience we suggest you to register in Race across Italy RAI775 as self-supported with fixed track, luggage delivery service, Time Station with food/beverage and guarantee of rescue along the route).
Registration is completed when you have fulfilled all the required steps including payment. You will then receive a confirmation (green light) you’re in.
Can I have a video or media crew following me?
Media cars must be authorized by the Race Manager
Do I need a tracking device?
No, because the tracker is included in the registration. Please note that if you do not return the device upon arrival, you will be charged €100.
Can I use my tracking device?
No, everyone must use the tracker included in the registration fee and linked to our website tracking
